The October 3 issue of Newsweek has a great cover story on Annie Leibovitz and her new soon to be released book "A Photographer's Life." There is also a slideshow of some of her famous images and some personal, private images from her life, including a striking image of her late, um even though Newsweek doesn't use the term partner it's the only appropriate word I know here, so striking smage of her late partner Susan Sontag. The book features many more such images of her life and family. It's on my wishlist already.
