National Press Photographers Association has an interesting article about Alan Kim, the photographer for The Roanoke Times whose photographs from Virginia Tech have become, I think, the most used and seen photographs from Monday's events.

As a sidelitght to this, Kim's photos were altered after the fact by a couple of newspapers who were concerned that the tourniquet the victom applied might be his genitals. Kim, The Richmond Times, and AP all examined the photo and ran it as is.
