Charlottesville, Virginia is the place to be this June 7-9 for three days of "peace, love and photography" at the inaugural year of the Charlottesville Festival of the Photograph. That description alone is enough to make me interested in attending.

Festival guests will find photography shows literally everywhere: in the trees, projected in storefront windows, on the sides of buildings, and of course, in all the galleries. Our goal is to transform Downtown Charlottesville for the week into a "Living Image."

There will be conversations and interviews with well known and well respected photographers, screenings, exhibits, portfolio review, and an absolutely amazing sound master class.
