I'm completely brand loyal to Canon. From my point and shoot to my DSLR and lenses I've never had anything but a great experience with Canon products.
Camera
Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) I love this camera more than just about any other material posession ever. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Canon A95 Really excellent point and shoot camera. Great for casual snapshooters and for those interested in taking a step up in their photography. Great manual controls, convenient swivel head and great battery life (AAs) make this an excellent camera at a really good price.
LensesEF 85mm f/1.8 I'm so in love with this lens it's not funny. It's my first piece of really good glass and the results are fantastic. It's the perfect focal length for portraits so I'm looking to try it out in that regard very, very soon.
EF 50mm f/1.8 II This is great, great lens. It's fast, cheap and sharp. Autofocus gets a little wonky sometimes and it doesn't feel like it was made with the most expensive components in the world but for the price this lens is definitely worth it. It's the lens that's on my camera 70% of the time.
EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 This is the standard kit lens that many people dislike. However I've found it to be solid for the price I paid (I got a great deal on my camera body and the kit lens from my local camera shop).
