Exposure's Link Policy
99% of the sites listed in Exposure's blogroll are sites that are in my personal feedreader. They are sites I visit and enjoy. The other 1% are sites that I think are good but aren't something that I necessarily want to keep up with all the time. Lately I've gotten several requests from site owners to add their sites to the blogroll as well. In most cases I've been happy to do so once I visited the site and found that it was something that would be of interest to Exposure readers. More than once though these requests for linkage have been phrased as "link exchanges." Meaning, you link to me and I'll link to you. Exposure doesn't do that. If you think Exposure is good and want to link to it, thank you and great, but that doesn't necessarily mean Exposure will link to your site.

The best way to get your site linked by Exposure (and other sites) is to feature good writing, good photography or both. The most direct path to getting linked is by commenting on entries and thus making people aware that you, and your site exists. I'm a lot more interested in a site belonging to someone who comments at Exposure than someone who emails and says "hey check out my site."
