Bardstown and Douglass
I can spot 1990 Honda Civics from 100 yards away in traffic. I can tell from that distance whether or not the front end is factory standard. If it's not standard then it can't be yours and I stop paying attention. If it is standard I watch and wait until it gets closer and I can see if it's beige or brown or gold because those all look the same from far away.
If it's beige I stand and wait. I wait for it to pass so I can see for certain that it isn't your car, that you aren't driving it. But today it was you. I'm not surprised, I mean this isn't a big town. As I stood on the corner and waited to cross it was you driving your car with someone in the passenger seat. Someone in my seat. She was pretty. She was smiling.
So were you.
Obviously it was my fault after all.
